| Ben’s best friend Becca gives him her winnings from an on-line auction as a birthday gift. The highest bidder gets to have lunch with Mitch DeSantis, the star of a very popular television show. While Ben is a huge fan of the show and of Mitch, he’s not to keen of the lunch idea. As it would happen, Ben needn’t worry about lunch. While Mitch is just as gorgeous in person as he is on screen, he’s a complete jerk in person. Ben leaves before the main course is served and hopes to never see Mitch again. But Mitch shows up with an apology and a secret.
When it comes to gay romance, Ms. Steele is one of the best authors out there. Her characters are strong individuals with definite personalities. Add to that an attention-grabbing plot and smoking hot love scenes and you’ve got one great read. Ben is one great guy just enjoying his life. His best friend and partner at the bookstore he owns is one hilarious and very supportive woman. They’ve been friends for years and their bond is very strong. Ben is charismatic and charming and loyal to a fault. Why do all the good ones have to be gay? Because of past hurts and because he is an extremely private person, Mitch doesn’t let anyone in. Not even as a friend. Mitch is stunned when he discovers that Ben managed to get in through a crack in his tough exterior. While their relationship is primarily based on satisfying sexual needs at first, it quickly evolves into something more serious. The chemistry between these two guys is very strong. The love scenes are overtly sexual and so hot the book might burn your fingers. If you enjoy reading gay romance books full of hot sex, loads of chemistry and funny interesting characters, you’ve got to read this book.
