Julie has had her life in mothballs since the death of her fiancé a few years ago. Rick, a handsome Mountie, was killed by a man robbing a convenience store, leaving Julie an almost-widow. Her best friend has been trying to get her interested in dating, but her choices have been pretty bad. But when she backs out of a planned vacation, Julie doesn’t suspect a thing. Imagine her surprise when she finds that she will be sharing the remote one bedroom cabin with a huge Scot who apparently likes to play his bagpipes in the nude. He also has a few other talents that Julie can’t wait to sample

Highland Fling is a really fun and sexy romance. The two main characters have so much chemistry and the sex scenes are really hot. Colin is a great character despite the secrets he keeps: he is warm, funny and willing to cook, unusual; but he is pretty unique. Julie is finally pulling herself out of her cocoon and decides to live again thanks to Colin. Her dream of a bookstore is finally coming together. She is a very strong character and complements Colin, never letting him overpower her despite his very strong personality. This is a great story.
