| Garrett Johnson watched his twin brother come out of the closet for the man he loved. After being used again by his ex-lover, Garrett feels more than just an empty bed. Garrett is the over protective brother but watching his brother fall in love makes him realize that his life is lacking something. CJ may be just what he needs -- except that he has his own secrets. CJ lives in fear of that his friends and co-workers would do if they found out he is gay. So he is happy to stay in the closet. But soon, he may very well be pulled out whether he likes it or not.
Sports isn't the only reoccurring theme that T.A. Chase repeats in this lovely installment to the Love of Sports Series, apparently food play is something that sex should always include. While food and sports feature in this series, it seems that closet behavior does as well. I do love the fact that Chase has given Garrett his own story. I was so disappointed in the fact that Garrett was with the scumbag of an ex but it worked for the story. CJ and Garrett's relationship is hot and heavy but it builds to that point luckily from a friendship even though the passion simmers just under the surface the whole time. I won't pretend that I understand NASCAR but this story is easily relatable. We also get some insight into the characters from previous book in the series. The side characters are so rich and in depth that much like Garrett I can't help but hope we hear more about them. I enjoyed this story overall though I think that the end left something to be desired.
