The plot for this book is enhanced by the characters who work with Alex and Conner to round out this story. Conner’s grandmother wanted the best for her grandson; she knew he was alone and needed to rescue his ranch operations, but she also knew that marriage to Alex would be good for him. Alex and Conner each had a myriad of inner problems to solve, as well as their future together, before they could live happily ever after. This is not my first Donna Alward book and it certainly will not be my last! She has excelled in yet another teary eyed, tension-filled and surprising book. I recommend it highly.
