| Melissa Brody learns on her 25th birthday, that life doesnt always play into her hands. Her grandfather had left her a trust fund which she had expected to be paid out at this time and then her life could continue in the same pattern as always. But it turns out that her grandfather was rather long-seeing, and he placed stipulations on her inheritance; she now is to work (oh what a thought) for SIX entire months on the dude ranch owned by her grandfathers partner. For Big City Party Girl Melissa this is a whole new string of beans and she isnt happy with this idea at all. And to top it all off, it turns out her father has decided that this is the right opportunity to get his children in line and Melissa, being the eldest, will even lose her allowance from him if she doesnt comply.
Once she thinks about the situation, she realizes that it cant be sooo bad, and six months can go by quickly. The only problem is that a stranger, her grandfathers partner, is to evaluate her performance in the six months, before her inheritance will be released. But little does she realize just who that evaluator will turn out to be I have to warn you; the jeans scene is just hilarious. And I just love these two characters; I enjoyed the fact that they fall for each other so easily, that their preconceptions are easily pushed aside with little hindrance, and that they are absolutely made for one other. The lust between the two is instantaneous. For romance readers looking for a perfect relationship story, this one can go right up there will the best.
