| Ebenezer Marley is extremely attracted to his administrative assistant, Cara. Every time he sees her cute dimpled smile and smells her sweet womanly scent, he knows exactly where he'd like for her to be. Three years ago, he acted on his desires, promising himself one night with the beautiful Cara. He hasn't attempted anything with her since then and he vows to never repeat that incident, no matter how much he longs to. Eben is a workaholic, making money and being successful comes first and foremost in life. Often compared to the fictional scrooge whom he shares his name with, Eben knows that his employees feel he has a heart of steel. When he is in a fatal car accident on Christmas Eve, Eben is visited by ghosts of his past. As they take him on journeys to visit his past mistakes and possible future, will Eben follow in the footsteps of the original Mr. Scrooge in order to find his happiness?
I enjoyed this witty remake of the famous Dicken's tale. His Christmas Cara is a heartwarming story about the power of change. Eben is the consummate hero whom we can't help but love, even during his cold hearted and surly stage. Cara is a woman with lots of love in her heart, despite her setbacks and serves as the strong heroine that Eben needs. Of course the story has the intense sex scenes Ms. Walker is known for, but the connection between the two main characters make the chemistry that much appealing. Pick this one up for a great holiday story.
