This anthology shows us what a little faith and some Christmas magic does for three sisters. Crista, Jade and Lindsey were raised by their Grandmother after their parents death and with their Grandmother’s passing, it’s just the three of them….and lots of Gram’s Christmas “magic”.

Crista is a widow at the age of 26. Even after 8 months, she’s still deeply mourning her husband. To make matters worse, Christmas is coming, she’s out at the lake which is pretty deserted this time of year, it just started snowing, her car won’t start and her cell phone can’t get a signal! She starts walking and gets picked up by a tow truck drive that looks remarkably like Santa in a plaid shirt and baseball cap. He drops her at a cabin where hopefully there is a phone she can use. She gets the phone, not working because of the storm but the best part is the owner of the cabin, Jeff! Will she get A Wish Granted? Lynn LaFleur does a great job with this story. I liked both characters right off; although I was a bit by Jeff’s attitude toward the end, although I understood what he was trying to do and why.

Jade is a ex-professional skier with a healthy distrust of men, a limp and scars, partly due to the last man she trusted. She also has an overabundance of sexual fantasies. Her sisters introduce her to Kidnap Fantasies, Inc by way of a brochure and questionnaire. She’s intrigued by what she reads and fills out the questionnaire, which her sisters swipe and turn in. What she gets is the man of her sexual fantasies……or is he?

Jan Springer tells a very erotic tale that explores all of Jade’s fantasies and while Caydon should have been honest with Jade about who he was, I felt she acted almost childish in her “outrage”. Warning: This story may contain some unusual and potentially offensive subjects.

Lindsey assumes it’s her turn, since her sisters have been taken care of. So what is she doing not only bailing a total stranger out of jail on Christmas Eve but also taking him to her house because he has no electricity in his apartment? She knows he’s innocent of the charges but how to get him to trust her enough to let her help prove it? The Last Candle is Lindsey’s story but is Greg her destiny?

Katherine Kingston tells a tale of two wonderfully strong individuals who, instead of overwhelming each other, they compliment each other and aren’t afraid of the other’s strengths.

Holiday Heat is an erotic anthology that explores all types of fantasies and Christmas magic and love. Make sure you have your air conditioner on and a tall glass of water! You will need it!
