This sounds a little like a soap opera! Like one of those Ms. Harte seems to write it in installments and some of it just doesn’t flow well. The transitions between the main storyline, Mia, Rome and Grey building their relationship and the asides to tell us about the secondary pack or Mia’s brother and his cohorts doesn’t do justice to Ms. Harte’s usual style. Given the problems, this is still a better than average book that I think a reader will enjoy. Each of three main characters grow through their insecurity to bond with one another in a truly loving relationship. When she centers on each of them, their thoughts and struggles, she shows a lot of her depth as a writer. The well done erotic scenes are painted with a hot brush!
