Across the sunlit skies in the New Mexico afternoon the cries of a woman in trouble can be heard. Waco Carter was the first to jump on his horse and head in the direction of the cries finding a runaway wagon and the young woman in distress. Calmly Waco took the reins of the horse and got it under control then checked back to see the passengers in the wagon.

Sitting in the front was a young woman and a child. Waco soon found out it was the widow Johnston and her young boy Jerry. Honey Johnston was a stunning woman who had taken over running the Wells Fargo office after her husband's death one a year ago. After seeing that both mother and child were fine, Waco offered to drive them home just in case there were anymore rattlers to spook the horse again.

Honey Johnston sure was an attractive woman but way out of Waco's league or so he thought. After all here was a refined lady and he was a cowboy and a half breed to be exact. Honey herself noticed the handsome cowboy yet she still felt she wasn't ready to get involved with a man just yet. Waco Carter was one that could make a woman change her mind. After the first distasterious marriage with Jerry Johnston, Honey wasn't really sure that all men were out only for one thing - her money.

It may have taken a bit of work but slowly Waco won over Honey's heart and ... well I'm not going to give away the whole story!

It's a great romance and one that is worth reading and keeping. Readers will fall in love with both Honey and Waco as I did. I hope there will be a sequel I'd love to see more of these two.
