| Weakness of any kind is not something that Nick Parks or Lucas Devereau can afford to show. Nick, as the leader in his family, must always be the pillar that everyone leans on. Lucas, as alpha of his werewolf pack, is depended on to lead and nurture all of those below him. Will their strong wills allow them to discover that it takes and alpha to make an alpha happy? With the turmoil within his pack, can Lucas depend on his human mate to see him through the coming storm?
I’ve read every book in Ms. Steele’s Hoosier Werewolf series and I have to say that this is my favorite. Within the pages of this story, Ms. Steele addresses some very real issues that everyone faces whether they are a man or a woman. Nick and Lucas must learn trust and open their hearts to love to survive both physically and emotionally. While their sex burns the pages, it’s their connection that kept me reading. The understanding that they share and the trust they develop is what real relationships are made of whether man or wolf. I was sad to see this series end, but glad that it ended with the Parks brothers all finding the happiness they deserve. This last installment neatly ties up all of the loose ends while still leaving readers plenty of time to truly come to love Nick and Lucas. Bravo, Ms. Steele, on a series well written and sure to be loved by all!
