After two failed love relationships, Lydia Morris wasn't looking to start another one especially with her boss. Her main focus was to make a name for herself in the advertising business. But, her current boss Ryder Garrison refused to comply with her plan.

Ryder Garrison was used to getting what he wanted and he wanted Lydia Morris. He knew that the typical wining and dining tactic was not going to work with Lydia. It would take a much more aggressive approach with a stroke of seduction thrown into the mix to keep Lydia off balance and hopefully in his bed for the rest of their lives because sometimes a hostile takeover was the only way to go if he wanted to win her heart.

Hostile Takeover was a wonderfully written erotic tale that hooked me from the start. The writing duo of Eve Vaughn and Shari Azod was incredible and passion-filled. I found myself eagerly turning the pages just to see how this intriguing tale would unfold. The plot contained the somewhat typical flavor of a romance novel where the hero and heroine developed a super hot relationship and that relationship became threatened due to a misunderstanding. Nevertheless, Hostile Takeover was still a heartfelt story that I took great pleasure in reading. Although, Lydia was determined, smart, witty and very quick at the tongue when she was pushed into a corner, she didn't know her own worth; while, Ryder was a man who displayed hot, masculine sexuality and was a mastermind at the art of seduction. The couple's passion was hot enough to melt an ice glacier and their countless sexual encounters were electrifying and very sensational. Overall, I found Hostile Takeover to be a marvelous story and hopefully Ms. Vaughn and Ms. Azod grace their fans with another thrilling co-written story in the near future.
