Suzanne and Ryder have been divorced for two years. Thrown back together since Suzanne is planning a wedding where Ryder will be the best man, they embark on a sexual relationship. After all, sex has never been a problem with them; it's just the other details of a relationship that they fail at. They find out their divorce was never finalized and each realize they feel more than lust for the other. But once again, they fail to communicate and they experience the same problems all over again.

Hot Finish is the third book in the Fast Track series. Suzanne and Ryder appear in the first two books but I believe Hot Finish can be read as a stand alone.

Ryder is your typical male who is secure in his male friendships and in himself as far as his career goes. As a popular race car driver, he is used to adoring fans and takes the groupies as just part of the package. Suzanne had a different personality than in the previous books. I quickly got tired of her bitchiness and insecurities. Her one redeeming quality was her loyalty to her friendship with Tammy and Imogen (from previous Fast Track books). For those who have already read Flat Out Sexy and Hard and Fast, you will enjoy the numerous appearances of Tammy and Elec and their kids, and Imogen and Ty. The book moves a little slow with the emphasis either on the upcoming wedding that Suzanne is planning, or Suzanne and Ryder indulging in a little more sex or arguing over misunderstandings caused by their lack of communication. Ryder was the more interesting character because early on he matured enough to realize just what went wrong in the marriage and was willing to work towards a life together. I loved how Ryder knew he loved Suzanne, even with all her faults, and how he tried to show her how much he cared. You'll enjoy this one if you like your sex passionate and steamy!
