| Jane has been in love with Ethan for as long as they have been friends. They grew up together and when Ethan became secretly engaged to another woman he broke Jane's heart. Now that the engagement is over Jane has decided it's time to let Ethan know her true feelings for him. She starts sending anonymous, erotic valentine poems to Ethan and he is not only intrigued, but suspicious since he's the assistant chief of police. When Jane's stationary store starts being vandalized Ethan insists on sticking close, not knowing that doing so could bring about feelings he didn't know he had.
Friendship leading to love is the theme in this delightful tale. Ethan is a man intent on going about his business after a failed romance and not interested in meeting anyone new. Jane is the woman in love with him and the way in which she is brought to life is enticing. Her character oozes sexuality. Jane's character is an emotionally charged woman who as decided to lay her heart on the table to Ethan. I loved the way in which Ethan comes to realize what Jane really adds to his life. The secondary story between Sherry and Randy adds just the right amount of interest to the storyline. Anyone looking for a sizzling story laced with erotic scenes and writing will love this one.
