Melissa had always planned on being the first, of her cousin and herself, to marry and what is she doing sitting here in the church instead of in front of the minister? Yep, you got ither younger cousin is the bride today.

Spencer, Melissas co-worker and immediate boss, is the one she wants. Shed like nothing better than to strip him down and show him just what delights she has to offer. Living in a small town limits the offerings a girl might have but she still cant get up the gumption to seduce him and get it over with. The friendship they share is very important to both of them.

Hed accompanied her throughout the day today and shed savoured the closeness with him, just from being in his arms, dancing. She has no idea that Spencer would like for her to make the first move, and that move hopefully requiring them being naked. Taking themselves away from the reception to a secluded spot gives them an unexpected possibility to explore each other and their relationship evolves on this evening into sort of lovers sharing oral sex. He is undecided with just what he wants but since he has two vacations booked to Aruba, asks her to go with him, thinking they might be able to get their passion somewhat sated in this week away. What starts out as a wonderful vacation turns into a nightmare. And then, even worse, everything about their relationship begins to falls apart. Not only has Spencer the Lover disappeared but Spencer the Friend also. Sadly enough, it takes a horrifying event to make Spencer recognize his own stupidity.

This was a great story, but I must confess that I had a very strong urge to whack Spencer. You really feel for Melissa; at least she is honest and open in what she feels. The struggle the characters are feeling came across as very real; such insecurity and misguided possessiveness would be present in an individual who is unable to open himself and acknowledge his heart. But a very enjoyable story, nonetheless.
