Captain Mitchell Scott doesn't have a lot of chances to be around women. But the second he gets within reach of Pepper Eaves, he can't help the burning desire he feels for her. Now that he has some time off though, he's going to claim her for himself before another man puts a ring on her finger.

Pepper Eaves has led a pretty sheltered life, and has always been surrounded by those who love her. However, no one has ever asked her what she wants out of life and instead just do the things they do out of love. However, when Mitchell comes home for a visit between official assignments, he's the only one to ask her and she's going to give him the one answer he least expects but will certainly enjoy.

Hot for Pepper is a very hot tale of two lovers that have denied their feelings for some time. The plot progressed really well, and the dialogue was humorous because Pepper is definitely a Southern Belle at heart. Swearing isn't allowed, except on the rare occasion when it falls from her lips which I found funny. The sex scenes were hot, because they were spontaneous and in public places, upping the inevitably that they'd be caught literally with their pants down.

Overall, this novella was penned brilliantly, and is a book everyone should add to their to-be-read list. Lastly though, I can't wait to read more of this author's books in the future.
