Imagine ending a five-year relationship because you walked into your apartment and found your boyfriend in bed with a blonde bimbo! Josie Salazar grabbed her bag, told Nick to be out of her apartment when she returned on Monday, and took off for her scheduled weekend trip. Since she worked as a music reviewer for the “Dark Horse” magazine, Josie had already made plans for her working weekend. She just left her apartment without saying a word.

While flying to Phoenix from Chicago, Josie’s feelings alternated from devastation—how could Nick do this to her—to determination to have a weekend fling for her three-day stay. When she arrived at the Phoenix airport, Gary, the manager of the band Maloney, did not show to pick her up. When she called him, he was over an hour away and told her to call Crow Harper, the band’s drummer, who was closer and on his way to the bar. Little did Josie know that meeting Crow was going to change her life.

Ms. Gabrina Garza has written a good, entertaining quick-read which will keep your interest and make you glad you have read it! Her characters are presented in-depth in few words, and are not only believable but likeable. The explicit sexual scenes are sensual and hot! I recommend this work as a good book to take-a-break-from-life story!
