While trying to catch a heartless killer, Trip finds the one woman who was meant to be his. The attraction they feel is more than just lust. Will Maggie be able to accept him, and the secrets he keeps? What if he's not the only one with secrets? Will he be able to keep her safe from an old enemy from his past or will history repeat itself?

I enjoyed this paranormal romance story. This story is fast-paced and is filled with a lot of action and sexual encounters between Trip and Maggie. I liked Trip and how he acts towards Maggie. He's very protective of her even when he realizes that she can take care of herself. I also liked that when he sings to her -- what woman wouldn't like that? I think that Maggie is Trip's perfect mate. She is headstrong and knows how to handle herself in dangerous situations. The only character that I didn't like is the demented enemy from Trip's past. He is holding imaginary grudges that no one but himself is responsible for. The love scenes between them are boiling hot. This story contains very explicit love scenes and language.
