I stayed up to 3:00am reading this book because I just couldn’t put it down! Then I read it again a week later just for the heck of it. I loved this book. Donovan’s job as the clan’s hunter and the qualities that make him a hunter also make him an outcast among his own people. Reading this book you feel his loneliness and sense of isolation. When he meets Chrys she brings light into his life. Watching the courtship between these two was such a heartwarming trip. I found the plot to be funny, sexy, and with just the right amount of suspense to keep the pages turning without it being a suspense novel. Even the eroticism fit in the story and made the love story more sensuous without feeling gratuitous. I’m already searching for more books in this series or by this author. I know this is a book I can keep and read over and over.
