| Leon was human, from earth, and interacted on a near daily basis with those who were not. Endil was alien and wandered the universe studying the various peoples contained therein. Leon wanted Endil but didn't know whether or not Endil wanted him in return. Also, Leon was bound by the regulations and rules not to "touch the alien."
Normally, I don't go in for male/male romances, yet when I started this one, I found myself quite pleasantly surprised. I not only enjoyed reading it but I also knew by the time I had finished that I would be reading it again and again. Also, in the future, I plan to read more works by this author. Ms. Carroll has an amazing voice, and writes about characters with whom I can identify with in some ways.
