Justin has been captured by Sigma, and even if he can't remember Rowan, he admires her. She's managed to evade all the traps set by them, and has even gotten the rebellion organized and fighting back. When Sigma decides to have him help in the latest mission, he knows it's to get Rowan. He's surprised when he's overcome by the urge to help her, even at the cost of his own life. When he touches her mind, he can't believe that he doesn't hurt her, and himself, because his talent always hurts. Who is this woman? And why would he do anything to protect her?

Rowan is devastated when she sees Justin and he doesn't seem to recognize her. She can't believe that he has forgotten her, when all she has felt since he'd been captured was a big emptiness inside where he used to be. When he helps her through a crisis, she thinks that he might still remember her, but is disappointed to find out that he has his own reasons, and she thinks it's got nothing to do with her. She doesn't know how wrong she is…

Once again, Lilith Saintcrow writes a fantastic story that will keep you on the edge of you seat, waiting to see what happens next. I usually read Erotica, but this is one author that I will look for and read anyway. Eden is a strong woman, and she's had to be to hold everything together. When she finds Justin again, it about destroys her to know that he doesn't know who she is, and that he's locked the memories that they had together away where they can't be reached. As the book starts out, they both can function with out each other, but as the story goes on you can see that they both need each other in order to be happy. I loved this book, the two characters really come alive for me and I was rooting for them all the way. Hunter, Healer is a fantastic ending to a two part story that will definitely leave you looking for more from this talented author.
