Hawk Taurin is one of the top agents in his field and he now has a new person to work with. Eva has joined the team and Hawk knows he will have a hard time keeping his hands off of her. He wants Eva but she is resistant to his charm and trying to keep her distance. When her maker comes back to claim her, Hawk is determined to protect Eva and destroy the vampire. Eva is not one to just sit back and let him have all the fun and she is fighting for her life.

Reading Jade James past work, I knew this book would have plenty of captivating characters and a plot that held me until the last page. Eva is the perfect woman for Hawk and the fierceness of their passion can’t be rivaled. Hawk is the ultimate alpha male and wants to keep Eve safe, but has to accept that she won’t stand back like some simpering female and let him take over. I enjoyed this story from beginning to end and couldn’t put it down until I finished it. Jade James is fast on her way to the top of the favorites list and with this book it’s very easy to see why.
