Alexandra Sainte is getting frustrated because her uncle and overprotective brother won't let her get out from behind a desk to help in their investigations. She finally gets her chance when her looks are close enough to those of girls who have gone missing to go undercover. Taking the bad with the good, she has to deal with egotistical but sexy Hunter Greye if they're going to have any chance of stopping the villains.

Marie Harte pens a great tale that is in keeping with previous books that made me a fan. There's enough taste of paranormal with the mixed bag of psychic abilities to make this a unique tale. Sexy men and a strong woman who won't be run over by the macho, overprotective personalities around her, all make for a great story. There are plenty of erotic scenarios to tantalize and keep us interested. There's also those bits of tongue in cheek humor that always overlay Ms. Harte's work and makes it fresh and fun.

For all the great aspects to the way this author spins her tale this one has a bit of a downside for me. It didn't feel like there was a satisfactory conclusion that was as good as the rest of the book. Part of it was great but there wasn't that punch to it that is as unique as I've come to expect from Ms. Harte. I still enjoyed the book overall, I just wish the ending hadn't left an empty spot in relating the history of some of the villains involved.
