| Carter Worthington IV grew up with regimentation, schedules, and very little emotion in his life. Well maybe there was anger from his father, perhaps even both parents. Tiffany Breeze grew up as an army brat traveling around, rarely settled for long. When hurricane damage to her grandfather's house next door blows her into Carter's life it's not only the characters in his books that benefit.
Terry Odell draws us emotionally into this story from the first page. It's almost easy to pity Carter for the life he's led and the emotions he's tried to bury deep down inside for years. Tiffany seems like just what the doctor would order if Carter realized he needed some help. He doesn't see what he's let himself become until the outspoken Tiffany talks to him in her usual open, no holds barred way. Ms. Odell crafts this book into one of those excellent love stories that stand out from the rest. Wonderful characters and dialogue keep it so realistic it will have you laughing out loud and shedding a few tears before you're done.
