Sebastian Hale is feeling a bit melancholy this Christmas season. He is feeling more alone than he has in centuries. All of his friends seem to be pairing off, but he sees no one in his future. About to go home to spend time alone he is asked by two female vampires to make snow and an ice sculpture for them. Ice being his special power, he agrees and creates a beautiful woman from the ice. She looks so real that he attempts to brush back her hair and cuts his hand. His blood brings her to life and Silver is more wonderful than he ever imagined.

I liked the Sebastian character and kind of felt sorry for him in his loneliness. He seems nice for a vampire. Rex and his love from a previous story make an appearance. Silver is a little one-dimensional and knows a little too much for such a new being, but apparently she is an old soul, Sebastian’s soul mate in fact. This is a nice Christmas story, even with a vampire as the main character.
