| Allie O'Shea is approached to be a linguist specialist for a top-secret government project. She sees it as her way to get to the top of her field. Until she finds out what the project is. A man frozen for thousands of years has been revived, and in an attempt to make him as comfortable as possible with his new life, a hut has been constructed and Allie is to pretend she is of his time. She is to learn his language and get him to talk as much as she can to find out information about his time, and to also ease his adaptation into the experiment. But there is something about him that compels her like no other.
When Kell awakes, he knows that he is not where he should be. Little things are not quite right, but there is a lovely lady talking to him in a slightly different accent. Without knowing that he is being watched and monitored, he attempts to seduce Allie. Allie overhears a plan that would make Kell an experiment and case-study after his death, to see how his body truly survived thousands of years frozen. Upon hearing this, she takes Kell, and together they run for their lives away from the lab, escaping to a safe place. A place that won't see Kell as a stolen artifact, and Allie a woman worth killing. Ms. Winston does a superb job, combining a very hot love affair, the trials of learning a new culture and trying to find common ground when a few thousand years of experiences separates new lovers. Highly Recommended.
