Arwen Grayson has never had a lot of luck with men. However, things are about to change. Especially when she catches the attention of the hot lead singer of her favourite band who she has a serious catch on. He sings to her their newest love song, as if no one else in the stadium.

Gannon is an Alte, one of the very few left of his kind and has never met a woman that can hold his attention for long. But when he locks eyes with a pretty brunette in the crowd of his band's concert, he knows he has to find out who she is and where he can meet her.

From the very beginning, I was drawn in by this book and its two humbling main characters. When they first meet is funny, and their chemistry is off the charts. The heroine was fascinating, and her willingness to take a chance on love was pleasing. As for Gannon though, I felt that him hiding his true nature of being an Alte (an angel) was not in anyone's best interests. As his running hot then cold for Arwen was almost certain to ruin the best thing in his life - his relationship with her. The secondary characters are great, except I thought Arwen's best friend, Natalya, was a bit over the top. The ending was well crafted, and bought a tear to my eye, but like most novels there always seems to be some sort of catastrophe before a happy ever after.

In conclusion, Marisa Chenery has made a delightful start to this new series of hers and one that won't disappoint. Especially if you're as much of a fan of this author's books as I am. And even if you're not I still recommend it.
