Rae Anne Lewis desires to be recognized as a television anchor and taking the assignment at a newly opened ski resort, Pine Trails, she is certain this will be her first step. It is there she meets Grant Spencer and their relationship takes a serious turn and they marry. She never suspected that his time would be so consumed with the resort, so she turns all her time to the TV studio pursuing her dream. After revealing a story on a young woman who claimed to have been raped, backfires in her face, she goes back to Grant.

Unfortunately things become more complicated when she returns to her estranged husband. She discovers he carries too many secrets and ends up leaving him again only to find herself in a new town where love bites once more with a man named Kyle. When Grant is murdered, Rae Ann is left as the suspect but Kyle Bennett comes to her rescue. He is in love with Rae Ann but he has his own secrets that he is fighting. They begin to wonder if they can have a future together when the past is so much a part of their life.

Idle Tuesday is a story filled with so many colorful characters and a great plot that it takes the reader on many different spins. Rae Ann is torn for the love of her job and her husband but when he blocks her out of his life and begins to harbor secrets, she feels there is nothing to salvage their marriage. After she runs off and meets Kyle, tensions once again flare and with a killer on the loose and a Senator, who appears very suspicious, there is bound to be some entertaining excitement along the way.

Ms. Michel has composed a story that is spellbinding. I enjoyed the cast of characters, not to mention the location of her scenes. She paints a lovely story that is very visual. I enjoyed the way she made Rae Ann strong and the chemistry between Rae Ann and Kyle is to die for. At times I felt myself in an old Mikey Spillane setting. This was a very good read. Ms. Michel engages the reader with this page-turner.
