| Julia Campbell is finally hitting her stride and has gotten the attention of her girlhood crush. Of course now they are both successful lawyers who are in direct competition with each other. Of course there is their past to get over and the fact that Julia is hiding a certain secret. How can she tell Cade that all those years ago she had a beautiful little girl and he's the father? Will Cade be able to forgive her for the deception or will he insist on being apart of his daughter's life?
Cade knows that Julia is an awesome lawyer and no one can get under his skin like her. The passion that existed between them is still there and still strong, but he knows she is hiding something from him and can't explain what it is until he meets the cutest little girl with his eyes. Could this child be his, and why didn't Julia see fit to tell him that she had his baby? One thing is certain; he is not going to let Julia push him away. Drama is a key factor in this book and the main topic for it is the child that Cade knew nothing about. Julia is a take control woman who is determined not to be helpless or dependent on anyone. Cade is still attracted to Julia and knows she is a good lawyer. Possibly having a child and not knowing it is a sobering situation for him. The interactions between this couple are full of tension that is underlain with passion. Julia and Cade are perfect for each other and Chrystal Kincaid does a wonderful job of reuniting them.
