| When Jason moves with his boyfriend Peter to Los Angeles, they move with Peter's father Alders. Jason thinks Alders is funny looking at first but there is so much more to him than Jason originally thought. Jason soon learns to appreciate his brains and passion as well as his masculinity. The more time that passes, Jason finds himself less attracted to Jason and more attracted to Alders. But Alders is straight isn't he?
This story is well told and thought provoking. Mr. Banis has a wonderful way with the written word. He tells us a story that basically teaches us the we should never judge a book by its cover and that looks are not everything. The story is told mostly from Jason's point of view as he grows and changes the more time he spends in Alders company. Alders is basically a man's man, he was a semi retired stuntman who though small in stature is larger than life. Peter comes of a person who is somewhat devil may care and a tad bit self involved. While this is a m/m story there are not many sexual situations in the story it is basically a tale of love and how love can change a persons perspective of people. This another wonderfully insightful story about human nature by Mr. Banis.
