This is just the start of her adventures with the man she calls Alonso. Meeting him at night where he blindfolds her so she could not recognise him, he shows her all that she had been missing in her life so far. Tyler Birch her boss, the man she has disliked for the 5 years she has worked for him…but somehow she always knew when he was around by the tingles that ran down her spine. Tyler really likes Austin and has come to the end of his patience with her, so using his nephew’s project of web design to bring her into his private life; he starts a campaign to get to know her. He starts slowly by including her in a trip to the zoo with Robbie his nephew and follows that by inviting her to meet his sister while she helps Robbie with his project. Slowly Austin begins to realise she really likes Tyler, but knows her relationship with Alonso would have to stop before starting anything with him. She worries how he would feel if he found out that she had had sex with a stranger. I enjoyed this story; Austin had to learn to like herself before she could believe that Tyler really loved her. Their relationship is not plain sailing, with many obstacles to clear out of the way before they could finally settle down together. The love scenes are hot and varied with Austin gaining more confidence in herself as the story goes on, which made it even more interesting to read. It is a long book, with a chapter or two maybe not quite needed, but the thing I liked most about it was that it did have a story, and not just one sex scene after another…I hope it is not long before Ms. Knight has another book out.
