Raven has seen a big tiger in the sky for many years, but no one she has told believes her. So she stopped to saying anything about it, even though he has saved her life more than once. But how can a tiger or whatever it is that is saving her really exist in the cloud? What she doesn't know is that it's a storm god who is helping her even if he can't be seen. The storm god can't figure out why he wants to help her or keep her safe. He only knows that the feelings he has for her are confusing and something he has never felt before. And now he must help her with her past before it's too late for them to have a chance of figuring out if they can have a relationship or not.
This book had a lot of promise, but in the end fell short of my expectations. Impossible to Hold had a lot of great elements, including depth of story and character development, but was somewhat lacking in the area of erotic romance. There was just something about the erotic scenes that just didn't jive with the flow of the story.Though I liked the depth of the story and the emotional aspects that the characters were forced to deal with, the sexy scenes were missing something and felt a bit forced. There are definitely some holes in this story line, but if you can get past that, it really is a hot little story. Normally, lack of plausibility would knock the rating down a notch or two, but I enjoyed this book despite its shortcomings. The plot is interesting and has you guessing how the story ends and if they get a happy ever after together.
