As Barrak finds himself the personal slave of Tirly, leader of the Zytellians, he will learn to tap into a part of himself he's never experienced before. However, all too soon, the Zytellians' world comes under attack, and Tirly finds herself the imprisoned one, and she'll find that Barrak can be just as forceful with his prisoners.
Imprisoned Prince by Meg Harris is a hot read of two leaders who succumb to the sweetest torture. Tiryl and Barrack are both strong characters who will find themselves learning submission and humbleness. As the tables are flipped for them both, I found myself hanging on to every action, eager to discover the next turn of events. While Tiryl's behavior as a dominant ruler was a bit too harsh for my tastes, I enjoyed the switch and the see a different side of her. Ms. Harris has a great writing voice, drawing readers in with tantalizing love scenes and an engaging plot. I like the elements of fantasy and the paranormal, they were easy to follow and provided a great background for the chemistry between the main characters. Overall, I found Imprisoned Prince to be a keeper, and I look forward to more stories from Meg Harris about this enchanting world.
