Historical erotic romance

Lenora Blakely has been promised to a man more than twice her age to pay off her father’s debt. She's completely prepared to do her duty and marry him. She also understands that she will have to live out her days in a loveless marriage with no passion. But when she meets her future husband’s nephew, Lord Blackford, with the simple act of touching his tongue to her wrist, he ignites a passion in her and gives her a way to find pleasure before she is forced to marry. What starts out as a simple fling between Lenora and Black quickly burns into a fire that may consume them.

This was an excellent story. Lenora is a strong woman, not afraid to go after what she wants and to do her duty even at the cost of her heart. Black is torn between fighting for the woman he has grown to love at the risk of losing everything or walking away from her and getting what has been promised to him since childhood. I enjoyed this story from the first page. The immediate passion that burns between these two characters ignites into scorching love scenes, but it’s the emotion they share that truly makes this story. Excellent job Ms. Dicken. I look forward to reading more from this great author.
