Nathan Truman and Quinn Anders were best friends growing up. Although coming from very different backgrounds they clicked, in more ways than one. At eighteen, after one eventful night, they went their separate ways. Sixteen years later a tragedy reunites the two. Time hasn't lessened the strong feelings between them, but something much more powerful might.

The premise of this book is what caught my interest. I like stories of love lost and found especially those with a twist. This was a very interesting story with well written characters. The author really paid attention to character development not only with the two protagonists but the secondary ones as well. I liked the relationship between Nathan and Quinn, it was a honest and believable depiction. Aside from the romantic nature of the book there's some drama, a very significant traumatic sequence that didn't sit well with me. I would have preferred another way of expressing the idea that you have to have some angst to get your happily ever after. I was very happy to get past that part of the story. Other than that, I was very pleased with what I read. A very engaging story that will test your range of emotions and leave you with some thought.
