CIA Agent Rachel first met Milton when she rescued him after he'd been kidnapped and brutally tortured. That same mission resulted in her partner's death and leaving behind the device Milton had created and finally lovemaking with Milton that she will never forget. Soon after, she left the CIA, changed her name, starting a new life. Finding Milton in her kitchen after so long, asking for her help shocks her. Yet he knows just what to say to get it.

Milton has spent sixteen months planning his revenge for the loss of his device, his dignity, and being tortured. He's a changed man, trained hard and now stronger than he ever was both mentally and physically. He never forgot Rachel and now he wants her help infiltrating the lair of his kidnapper whose sexual practices are legendary. It will leadthem down a dangerous path.

Inescapable is a tense, unique, and thrilling novel. Milton is strong man both before and after having been kidnapped and tortured. Yet he loses part of himself in the process. He's changed into a harder man, one that Rachel doesn't recognize nor is she sure she likes. But she understands why. Rachel is a strong woman on the outside but her job as a CIA agent has taken its toll. Losing her partner just made it too much for her. She changes her life. Milton and Rachel are dynamic characters, they cared for each other's wounds, understood each other's insecurities, vulnerability, and desires. But trust is a fragile thing and throughout this story that trust is tested time and time again. The love scenes are emotional, intense, powerful, and so hot I needed to cool off. There is action and suspense woven through the plot to make this a very satisfying immensely erotic novel that I won't soon forget.
