Wereplanets: In Heat is an entertaining erotic adventure set in a futuristic world where the peoples who have survived the demise of Earth live on different planets. All the surviving races are animal hybrids and Vesperi is populated by weretigers. Although this story stands on its own, it is part of a series and sometimes it felt like I picked up in the middle of the action. This short story revolves around Mahlia and Varad working through their grief and fear over losing their son and learning to express their feelings. They have no problems expressing their lusty sexual feelings. The chase scene leads to a wildly passionate encounter. If you like otherworldly characters and animalistic eroticism this futuristic adventure will be a fast read.
