| Lyssa Markham thought she was alone in the world. She was surprised to learn that she had a great-aunt that died leaving her a dilapidated old mansion. It was the week before Halloween when she moved into the old house. The electricity had gone out causing Lyssa to look for the fuse box. She was surprised when she heard cursing coming from the basement. It turned out to be a man who also was looking at the fuse box. The first thing she noticed was how well he filled out his. The next was his intense blue eyes. She should have been afraid but she wasn't. He introduced himself as Mason Donovan and he was her great-aunt's handyman and he also lived there in the mansion. She found herself drawn to Mason and it did not take long for them to act on their attraction. There was just one problem…how would Lyssa react when she discovered whom or what Mason really was?
Inheriting Mason the title comes from the fact that Lyssa, by inheriting the mansion, also inherits Mason who lives there. This is a sweet romantic story that involves some very graphic erotic scenes. The characters are likeable from the very beginning. They are both lonely people who reach out to one another and find love. The sex described in the story in graphic detail is passionate and very stimulating. The scenes are choreographed in wonderful detail that makes it easy to visualize. The dialogue in the story is well written and easy to follow. Mary Winter has done a marvelous job in writing a story that is both sweet and erotic. The couple interacts in a way that demonstrates a caring couple falling in love. Yet the time spent being intimate is powerful in its passion. This story is a quick sexy read that leaves you smiling. I recommend this story to all adult readers of erotica, especially those that enjoy the paranormal.
