| Trudy has come to the U.S. from her Canada pack for a new start on life. She stumbles on to more than she can handle. Humans are hunting werewolves with great success, because they have someone helping them that could be a werewolf. Adam is an agent that has been tracking the group for a while, and trying to hold back the tide. In the middle of the mayhem, Trudy and Adam just might find each other.
I enjoyed the character of Trudy in this story. She came across as a strong woman with a lot of things going on in her life. She stood up to Adam and the other people in the story, even though it went against her nature to do so. Adam is a strong person too, and likeable in his own way. I had a little problem with the idea that he could just wander off for a week without saying anything and Trudy would forgive him, but it's fully explained in the story why that happened. Still, he could've called! There is a lot going on in the story, with finding a killer and plots against the werewolves having to be stopped. The sex in the story is hot, with some woman/woman sex and multiple partners in the mix. I didn't feel like I had to have read the others in the series to understand what was going on, even though I had read a couple of the others in the series. Great book to settle down with and read in an evening, and I am looking forward to the next one!
