Amanda Stevenson is backed into a corner by her parents who want her to finish college closer to home. Even with a part time job she may not be able to make it on her own without their financial support at her current college. Jack Navis, her friend and mentor offers a solution. If they're married she won't have to worry about tuition. They'll simply have a platonic relationship and get a divorce after she graduates. It works well for a while. Even her parents accept their marriage. But it gets complicated when they share their first kiss.

Jamie Craig gives us a tale that may seem unusual in this day and time.. Amanda who's in her second year of college and Jack who has a Ph.D. are both virgins. The way this writing duo tells the tale is priceless. Amanda and Jack are friends first which helps them over some of the rough spots. Both are innocent enough in many ways to be able share their deepest secrets with one another. Not much is better than a relationship driven by friendship and respect for one another. The dialogue is great. Amanda's sister-in-law Ellie comes up with tidbits that help her through some of the complications that come when two people who are attracted don't know what to do with one another in the day by day routines of life. In the bedroom the two are on their own and prove to be more than capable of dealing with one another's innocence. Amanda is able to get over her shyness due to Jack's adoring praise. From that she's able to help Jack over his insecurities as a man who¡s gotten his sex from voyeurism.

I wonder if it makes the reader a voyeur because it's so exciting to watch Misses Dean and Espinoza weave this tale into something special!? It's great to see what a superbly crafted book the authors can develop this theme into. It's one of those tales that's hard to put down because every page brings a smile as the couple delves into the wonders of love.
