|Becky and Frank have had chemistry together from the first time they met but because of circumstances they don't act on it or let the other people know. Becky is herself and she does flirt a little bit with Frank. Frank keeps his distance and pushes her away. Becky decides to go on vacation because she needs a break from Frank and she goes to Seychelles and meets up with her friend. While out on the boat, Somali pirates come and kidnap them and hold them hostage. Frank, Bill, and Angel come to rescue her but they have to keep it under wraps.
I loved the characters in this story. They were really well written and they drew me in from the very beginning. I already knew some of the history of Becky and Frank from the first book in the series and so I was totally engaged from the first word that I read. All of the characters in the story were well written. I couldn't wait to find out what was going to happen between Becky and Frank and how they were going to work it all out. There is plenty of action in this story to keep the reader engaged and guessing what is going to happen next. There are plenty of twists and turns that change the story and what you thought was going to happen. The sex is explicit but not frequent. Frank is in denial about his feelings and refuses to act on it. Becky has accepted her feelings and continually tries to get Frank to change his mind. There are feelings involved from the very beginning because they have known each other for so long; there has just been a lot of denial. I loved all of the dynamics between the characters and the team. This is the second in the series. I would recommend reading the first because all of the characters are involved in both of them but you could read this story without a lot of confusion if you hadn't read the first one. I can't wait for more.
