Jaclyn has always had an insatiable sexual appetite and her wealthy status puts her escapades in the spotlight. She decides to move to a small town to help herself tone down her risqué behavior. What she doesn't realize is Serene is just not any small town, but one that caters to inhuman species. Jaclyn gets caught between two different species and learns facts about her past that leaves her reeling and fighting for her future.

The book starts out with a hot and sexy sex scene. I thought the importance of that scene was twofold – one it grabbed my attention right off, but as the book progressed I realized that scene highlighted just how much more intense, emotional, and fulfilling the relationship between Jaclyn and Slyck was. The plot of this book is so different from other paranormals out there. I liked how the town was home to a variety of species and that they were learning to coexist. The problems between the species made the storyline very believable. There is a ménage scene with some F/F action mixed in as well as ménage with M/F/M. This book was a great start to a new series and I'm already looking forward to the next story.
