| Insufficient Mating Material is the sequal to Fored Mate and begins right where it left off. Princess Martia-Djulia fell in love with Djeth when he was disguised as Commander Jason, but his alter ego is dead and he is just Prince Djetthro-Djetth. Changed on the outside as well as the inside, he looks nothing like Commander Jason and must mate with Martia. When Martia runs away she ends up stranded on the An' Koori island with Djetthro and surrounded by enemies. Thrust into this situation created by her brother, Tarrant-Arragon, Martia and Djetthro start to see each other with new awareness. The political intrigue, family situations and unknown enemies make for a perilous environment for Martia and Djetthro to fall in love.
This is a very entertaining read and a great sequel. Martia and Djetthro are a highly amusing pair of characters and they are carefully fleshed out. The setting is a nice change with the different social values and action-packed. Humor and suspense are sprinkled throughout and the erotic elements add just the right amount of heat. Martia and Djetthro are complex, fascinating beings who let their true selves come through with all their faults. Martia is afraid of trusting anyone again and Djetthro must overcome the change that has taken over him. Anyone looking for a science fiction romance that has a lot of good humor should read this book.
