| Kerra Telsier is a biochemist working for the Science Ministry and in less then a second everything she had worked on for ten years would be erased. Kerra refused to allow the military to warp her work; it wasn’t meant for war, it was meant to help people. Once her life’s work was destroyed she went into hiding. She had to get off this planet and fast, but how? Kerra learned from visiting some of the seeder side of town about a man who was looking for a way off world, maybe she could hire him. But could she trust him?
Aden Locke was trapped, his enemy Gandes had tipped off Divon security and they had shot him down. They confiscated everything and Aden was stuck on a planet where the government controlled everything. This wasn’t good for a smuggler, but that was only half his problem. Gandes wanted revenged he wanted Aden, Jannia and Vaialora to pay for putting him in prison, especially Vaia. He knew it would do more to hurt Aden if he got the girls and besides, they played a part in sending him to prison as well. Vaialora shouldn’t have split up their partnership; then he wouldn’t have raped Jannia. Aden never should have helped security catch him. Now they would all pay. Kerra offers Aden a way off the planet; all he had to do was take her somewhere safe from the Science Ministry. Aden agreed on one condition, they had to go warn his friends about Gandes first. They team up and Kerra starts a journey beyond anything she ever dreamed. Kerra never expected to be free, much less be drawn to this strange man. But he called to her in a way she didn’t understand. Aden never expected to be attracted to Kerra, but the more he’s around the little vixen, the more he wants her. What a time to get a case of the hot’s over some genius biochemist, of all women. Aden didn’t need this, not with a crazed murderer on the loose. It was time to leave. Gandes was somewhere out there, and Aden had to find him. Come and join Kerra and Aden, along with Jannia, Vaialora, Emarr a very big, very green man, and a rogue named O’Hara as they go on a wild ride through the galaxy. Emarr and O’Hara help Kerra on a daring rescue and you will find out just what happens when a Kethrian female’s pheromones join with a male. This is the first book I’ve read by Norma McPhee, but not the last. Ms. McPhee’s writing is exciting and entertaining and her characters are very lively. Emarr is a very interesting character and you will find out more about him in Norma’s second book "Walls of Ice". So if you’re looking for love and adventure among the stars, be sure to get "Into the Fire" and blast off into the hyperspace of love. Enjoy!
