Island Recess is a passionate romantic suspense filled with thrills and excitement. Readers will be kept guessing about whether Helena’s ex will come looking for her and the truth behind Neil mysterious past. Readers will be held captive by the impending revelations and confrontations. It is an entertaining story of lost trust and found love. The characters are very compelling and easy to become attached to. Readers will empathize with Helena as she is less than trusting with her relationship with Neil. She is the simple girl next door type that found herself having to become world wise in a hurry. Neil also has his reasons for not telling all about himself and readers can also understand his point of view. They must each learn to trust again before their love can grow. Together they are a passionate couple that heats up every scene they share. A simple look conveys to the readers so much unsaid. When they finally get together they do combust in an exciting combination of fire and heat that will leave the readers breathless. When not enjoying the heated encounters between the two lovers readers will enjoy the suspense and excitement of danger. When Helena’s ex catches up with her everyone knows things are about to get really bad. The truth is much worse and more surprising than the readers could ever guess.
