When Cody Lang meets her new neighbor, Kipling, she knows that he could be just the answer she has been looking for. Cody has once again gotten herself into a situation that could only backfire and cause her father more heartache. Believing that her father is in failing health, Cody created a loving husband. Now her father is coming for a surprise visit to meet his new son-in-law and of course there isn't one. If she can convince a stranger and a neighbor to help her out, she could quite possibly pull off this marriage charade.

Famous and fed up with the Hollywood scene, Kipling Stanton has decided to take a break from being the lead actor of a very popular television series. He is going to try to avoid being recognized and live a normal life. When he finally met his new neighbor, Kip was instantly transfixed and is now under her spell. Now he just needs to find out how he was convinced to be her husband... and why he cannot seem to stay away from Cody.

Can they pull off the ruse? Can he continue to hide his true identity from her?

Ms. Fisher weaves an enchanting, funny and very sweet story about trying to save face in the midst of a big lie. Cody is a beautiful, down-to-earth business woman with a bit of insecurity and a pure romantic streak. Kip has seen what luck and life can bring and is unsure if he wants to resume his acting career, but he does know he wants a "normal" life. Great Story!
