| Kipling (Kip) Stanton is tired. Tired of the artificial world he's been living in and tired of the women looking at him as a sex object. What's more, the television series he's been acting in has come to an end. He's feeling insecure and needs a quiet place where he can recuperate. A place where he can find peace and build up his self-confidence. But then he meets Cody. And peace is the last thing he gets. Is she really loony as Kipling believes or is there lots more to her?
Cody Lang needs a man. Not to love, not to marry, but to pretend that he's her husband in front of her extremely overbearing father. When she meets Kip, she knows he's the one. What she doesn't know is that he's not the computer geek she presumes him to be. She trusts him to convince her unwell father that he's the one she fell in love with. But will she able to trust him once she knows exactly who he is? Will she be able to trust him with her heart? Isn't it romantic? Yes, it definitely is! Ellen has successfully woven a fascinating tale of smiles and sighs. Cody is adorable as a successful but a very insecure lady. Kip is absolutely wonderful as the protective but secretive guy. I am sure every woman would love a man who is vulnerable and protective at the same time and Kip fits the bill very well. The sensuality between Cody and Kip is delightful and heart-stopping. The interaction between the two can get a smile or two from even the most grim person. For an amusing time with a charming story, be sure to read Ellen Fisher's "Isn't it Romantic?"
