| It is the evening of the ten year high school reunion and Greg Morris wants to do something he let slide, not by his own choice, back in high school. Candace Blake is his goal, all grown up now, and Greg is planning to claim her before the night is over.
Candace Blake grew up as one of the poor, basically from the wrong side of the tracks. To survive she became a true rebel, a real wild child. Now she’s made her place in the world as a successful lingerie model and designer. Her business expansion into catalogue sales is already planned and has been sent to Pinnacle Publishing. She doesn’t realize just what her business proposal might have released in the heart of a certain man…. Loved this story, heavens, am I predictable, but I truly did. I enjoyed so much the fact that Greg always wanted Candy and, getting a new chance, goes all out in the attempt making everything just right to entice her. What girl doesn’t want a man to surround her, in every way (pun intended), and make her feel cherished and loved? Candy falling for her suitor, yet having no real feel for his true identity was so sweet, but not sickly sweet in the slightest, and I was glad to see that she easily admitted to herself that he was someone special, even with their past. Wonderful was the fact that all the characters are strong personalities. It was truly heart warming to see his family all come together in accepting Candy, after the initial misunderstanding, and for Candy to accept them, after all she endured as a teenager.
