| Tara Jenkins has done it! The big day has arrived and she can call herself a homeowner, achieving one of her long drawn out goals. It is such a good feeling. As she stands admiring her rather unattractive house, condition before the upcoming renovation, she catches a glimpse of the gorgeous man who is her new neighbour.
Brent Chambliss lost his family and has lived in limbo since that time. Letting go of the memories just hasnt happened for him and, until spotting his new neighbour and feeling a strange rush of passion, he hadnt even thought about it ever happening again. Tara begins right from the first night having strange dreams, and imagine her shock when she realizes just who is involved and why. A certain person has contacted her with an assignment and it is going to take some work, and certainly change her life to boot. As Tara and Brent finally grow closer, learn to enjoy what they have with one another, and feel the need involved with falling in love, the walls sheltering trust begin to crumble. A wonderfully romantic story about two very special people. For Kellys ruse to backfire in such a way; perfect. Even with Brent and Tara having a very hard time learning to trust, you still feel so for them going through such a situation. I enjoyed very much that the two began to talk about the various things that were problems, rather than letting them fester and eventually make the situation even worse. The secondary characters (her friends and his friends and brother) are a great addition to the story. Definitely recommended reading. I'll look forward to more from this author.
