| Diana, Graeme, and Peter are on the hunt for a killer -- or is the killer on the hunt for them? Girls are turning up dead, killed in ritualistic fashion, and Graeme, an ancient languages professor and wizard, is asked to assist the local police in solving the murders. He enlists the help of his two lovers, Diana and Peter, before anyone else is killed. As they unravel the magical clues to a deadly wizard on a quest for ultimate power, they must also unravel the tangles of their hearts and learn the strength of three before the magic silences one of them forever.
This was another great installment in the Rule of Three series. While it can be read as a stand alone, I highly recommend reading the others in the series to better understand the full dynamics of Diana, Graeme, and Peter and how they came to be together. They are an interesting threesome who all play off each other well. There are definitely some love/ hate issues going on, but it was fun to see how they resolved them. And hey, who doesn't like make-up sex. There are some intense love scenes that may not be for everyone but they were tastefully done. The mystery was thrilling and I wasn't quite expecting the way it ended, although I felt that there could have been some more development of the mystery aspect. A lot of the story revolved around Diana, Graeme, and Peter and their relationship with the mystery as bits and pieces woven in. There are also a lot of references to events that happened in the previous stories that made some points of this story confusing until you get closer to the end. Overall, it was a very good story that I really enjoyed and I look forward to the next installment.
