| Sarah has found the perfect first house and it is a bargain but as is usually the case when something seems too good to be true, it generally is. There is this one teensy little problem; the house comes with a resident ghost who doesn't choose to share his home. Jack built the house for his fiancé but she never got to live in it and Sarah suspects if she figures out why she may be able to help Jack. But does Jack want to be helped or does he just want Sarah to go away like all the other people have?
This is a cute yet really strange story. I like Sarah; she is not frightened of Jack. Sarah wants to help Jack find peace so he will go on to the ever after and she can live in the house she bought. Jack is a man with one main thing on his mind as far as I can tell. Jack doesn't want peace; he wants his fiancé but it has been a long time since he has been with any woman and Sarah looks remarkably similar to his missing fiancé. Sarah really wants her house, sans ghost, but will giving Jack a little loving solve both of their problems or will it just make the situation more complicated? The story was cute and although the ending was not what I anticipated, it does seem to be what Sarah wants. It did stretch credibility a bit but since it is strictly a story for entertainment purposes that was okay. If you are looking for a quick, quirky read, this book is worth reading.
